Well another day just about in the books and the heat continues to spread across the country acting like its "Summer or something".
Heat will again be the big story for your Tuesday, with temps again approaching record levels in the west, while heat and humidity will make it very uncomfortable in the Southeast and Gulf Coast, however look for more of those 25 degree dropping T-storms to hit in the afternoon, those always feel good.
We are watching another storm system set to move across the Plains this week, which will bring another round of severe weather to the area along with a short term cool down for the region.
TROPICS: The Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico remain quite and should remain quite through the remainder of the week.
LONG RANGE SNEAK PEAK: An event worth noting is coming around July 9-13, this could be record setting heat for the Plains, with places from North Dakota through Kansas seeing 100 plus temps during this time period.
Remember you can get access to our Long Range outlooks, with a brief overview provided each week in our 9 Day outlooks. Don't forget to get over and get signed up to become a great 9 Day follower and know the weather in advance.
Enjoy your evening,
