Good Evening,
Some severe weather moving across the Plains and the Tennessee River valley along with the Mid-Mississippi River valley, all this activity will continue pushing eastward overnight.
Thursday AM: A few showers and possible thunderstorms will remain over the Northeast behind the frontal boundary, the biggest threat will be the possibility for heavy rainfall. High pressure will build in over the Great Lakes and the Midwest, this will provide the region dry weather and mild temps for the end of July. A warm front pushing into the Northern Rockies will be the focus for showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon Thursday, severe weather should be limited, however a few storms could reach severe levels, with the biggest threat being heavy rain and damaging winds. Return flow over the Southeast and Gulf Coast will provide the region with temps in the 90's and afternoon isolated thunderstorms.
