A rather tranquil evening in store with a few areas of thunderstorms still firing from the Colorado region eastward across the Central Plains, outside of that a fairly quite night. We are still watching Hurricane Cristobal as it moves away from the United States and out towards the open Atlantic, there is also an area of convection just off the coast of Louisiana this evening that will continue moving towards Texas later in the week bringing showers/t-storms and gusty winds to the area.
Look for more showers/t-storms to fire along the boundary from Colorado into the Central and Northern Plains and also expanding into the Mid-Mississippi River valley.
