Good Evening,
Taking a look across the country this evening, the first thing that headlines the weather is the severe weather that is pushing through the Ohio River valley and Great Lakes, this will continue to be the headlines heading into Thursday with more severe weather possible from the Northeast into the Mid-Atlantic. The second story is the unseasonable cold air that is arriving over the Northern Rockies and Northern Plains, places in this region will be dealing with the potential of a hard freeze and for sure frost. The third headline is the "SUMMER SNOW" that is moving into the Northern Rockies and the Black Hills of South Dakota, some of these places will see upwards to 6-9inches of snow in this unique summer snowstorm.
The tropics are starting to slowly come to life for the Atlantic as well, there are a few locations that we are watching for potential tropical development including just east of Florida along with a spot near Central America and a third over the open Atlantic. The spot near Central America needs to be watched as it will most likely drift northward over the next few days and could spawn something in the Gulf of Mexico in about 10 days.... While the storm over the Atlantic will also need to be watched as it develops and moves towards the Eastern US.
Enjoy the weather!!!
