After a few days of autumn like weather in the middle of
summer, the North Central states will begin to see heat and humidity that not
only promises to bring an increase in temperatures but also severe weather to
start off the work week.
Severe thunderstorms will first rumble through Northern
Minnesota Sunday evening before moving into the Western Great Lakes and extending
into the Dakotas Monday into Tuesday all courtesy of a storm system making its
way east from the Rockies. Cities from North Dakota into Wisconsin and Michigan
should expect to see violent winds, large hail, blinding downpours and possible
tornadoes as heat and humidity ramp up through the region. The stage will be
set for the return of more comfortable weather to return to the area as the
severe weather dissipates and moves out of the North Central region by midweek.
Enjoy your weekend!
