Good evening,
After battling record lows and a rare snow event last week,
things will begin to warm up for folks in the Southwest as a ridge of high
pressure moves into the area. Locations from southern Cali into Las Vegas and
Phoenix will see their thermometers bounce back to average digits this time of
the year with temperatures hovering in the 60s and 70s along with dry and mild
conditions.
Those located in the southwestern portion of the country
should expect to see plenty of sunny skies along with more typical January
weather that will prompt for the reappearance of less clothing. However, those
who reside in the central valley should be aware that due to the high pressure
that is set to dominate the area, morning fog will develop leading to possible
travel delays as visibility will be reduced. Also, by the end of the week,
slight shower chances will return as a weak front enters through the northern
portion of California.
Enjoy your week!
