Good Evening,
Well the big news for the weather is the COLD!!!, plenty of cold air to share from the Rockies to the East Coast and even the Gulf Coast.
Wind Chill values near -50F over the Northern Plains, to near record setting overnight lows around 15-19F along the Gulf Coast, with the majority of the country from the Rockies to the East Coast under a watch/warning it will be a very cold next few days.
We are also watching a small clipper system that will brush through the Northern Plains, this will set the stage for some light snow over the Dakota's and in Minnesota pushing into the Great Lakes, along with that will be very windy conditions leading to the current Blizzard Watches/Warnings that we have in effect over the region.
Wind Chill Advisories in effect for the Gulf Coast as well with wind chills from Louisiana to Florida set to fall into the 5-15F range tonight.
Be Warm and Be safe!!!!
