Good evening,
Unsettled weather will be moving into the mid-Atlantic and Northeast as the week comes to an end with two disturbances joining forces to bring showers, thunderstorms and hail through some locations.
The past several days have been filled with plenty of sunshine and mild to warm temperatures, all of which will be replaced by overcast skies, cooler digits on the thermometer and showers that will extend from Washington, D.C., into Boston as the work week concludes.
As Thursday commences, heavy showers and thunderstorms will make their way through the Appalachians and portions of the mid-Atlantic and although these are not expected to become severe, the possibility of drenching downpours and hail remains high. As for Friday, as the disturbance continues to move up the eastern Seaboard, temperatures are expected to drop at least 10 degrees below their normal average for this time of year along with showers that will remain though the first half of the weekend.
Gradual clearing is expected though out the day on Saturday allowing for a nice and comfortable weekend.
Enjoy your evening,
Jen Gonzalez
