Extreme Weather for June 14, 2015

Good Afternoon,

Taking a sneak peak at your Sunday weather and where will be the extremes for the day. The first area of concern will be over the Southwest Gulf of Mexico, the potential for a tropical to develop is looking very likely over the next few days. Where will this tropical head? With the strong ridge along the Southeast US and Florida, this would pretty much keep this area safe, there is a trough over Central Texas that just happens to be moving towards East Texas, could this be the potential landing spot of a tropical Eastern TX or Western LA?? Well only time will tell, but make sure to keep it here as we will have another update tomorrow on the blog and also over on our Forecast Weather Center, you can get to that link by following our site. www.dakotaweatherconsultants.com/FWC.html

Second extreme weather event will be the flash flooding over Northeast TX, Eastern OK and parts of Kansas slowly expanding northeastward towards the Great Lakes as the frontal boundary moves through this region, expect to see an increase in Gulf moisture with this front, allowing for some very rain efficient thunderstorms to develop.

Latest on EL-Nino continues to look strong through the 1st part of Fall, you can find out more about our El-Nino thoughts by signing up for a Long Range Forecast as we include this in our discussions there .

Enjoy your evening,
